Where I'm At

 There are lots of things going on at the moment. I'll try to cover them all. 

1, Querying

If you're wondering why an author hoping to self-publish is querying it's because I have another novel that I'm trying to get out into the world at the same time. 

Tasha's Christmas Wish (working title) is a middle grade fantasy novel about a little girl with big ideas who almost destroys Christmas for everyone. 

2, Editing

How Lexi Walker Almost Saved the World is definitely not finished. Not by a long shot! I thought it was but when proof reading for self-publishing, I discovered a LOT of paragraphs, scenes and chapters I'd either completely change or delete entirely. I'm doing an entire rewrite, it looks like but How Lexi Walker Almost Saved the World will be a super polished novel ready for reading! 

3, Marketing

While all of this is going on, I've got to market my novel. I'm using social media mainly, trying to create an interest in my up and coming novel. Everyone has been so kind and supportive and I've learnt so much from everyone's amazing tips. I do feel very lucky, humble and grateful for all the support and advice so far. 

I'm also going to try giveaways and possibly find some one who might want to review my novel. My budget is next to nothing, unfortunately. 

That's where I'm at, at the moment. Not a lot to report really but I am working on it.
