It’s a Bit Like a Traffic Jam but With Stories Instead of Cars
Firstly, I just want to take this oportunity to apologise for how sporadic these blog posts are. I am still here and #amwriting. However, with family and day job commitments, having the time to post is difficult to manage.
A poor excuse, but an honest one.
So, I am trapped in a writing jam. My solution is to type up what I’ve got so far, as I always begin writing long hand.
A writing jam is a rather frustrating place to be, for myself at least. I have all
these ideas vying to be written that instead of filling my notebooks with drama, intrigue, romance, my notebooks are being half written with two or three pages of the start of something interesting.
Take this morning for example. I was ready to spend my free time writing my current work in progress, a sci fi about two teenagers making their own way through the galaxy with lots of twists and turns where they meet and drift apart. It was going well and I was very excited about it.
